Men really want to love and be loved, but they want to give and receive love differently than women do. Because of their training, they are often uncomfortable expressing their emotions in nonsexual ways. Men are most comfortable expressing Love through sex, through shared activities, through being a good provider, and through just being together, and they want women to accept these sections as love and not expect men to be different or to be like women.</p>
A man feels frustrated and even angry when a woman doesn’t perceive his version of love as “real love” or “good enough” when she isn’t interested in sex which is the primary way to knows how to express and accept intimacy and wants him instead to be more romantic. He often doesn’t understand romance, know how to express it, or feel comfortable with it.</p>
Therefore, as much as he may be interested in solving this dilemma, he is usually confused about exactly how to treat this “new woman” and completely confused as to how to meet her needs, let alone how to get her to meet his need for physical intimacy and sex.</p>
