Over half of companies block access to Facebook

The study shows that younger employees in even 54 percent of companies in the United States can access their accounts online social networks and similar services only when leaving office.</p>


Company analysis “Robert Half Technology” has conducted a study with 1400 directors of American companies who employ one hundred or more workers. According to data collected in 54 percent of companies surveyed employees were banned access to Facebook or completely Twitter while ten per cent of them were allowed free access to the same.</p>


From 19 percent of respondents answered that they allow their employees access to online social networks for work, 16 percent in any way restrict access to online services, while one percent are not known to answer the questions of this company analysis.</p>
