In a post-conflict Kosovo, Prishtina Press (www.prishtinapress.info) would like to utilize cultural diplomacy to promote activities that empower young Kosovar artists to express their creativity. Being a young country which has celebrated its third year of independence a significant percentage of Kosovars grow up with extreme poverty and tragedies. In particular, the youth in Kosovo face economic and social problems and are the vulnerable underclass; many survived the massacres of their families and are slowly recovering from ethnic cleansing.
“My aim is to support young artists in Albania and Kosovo by creating new opportunities for them. I believe that by encouraging young minds to pursue their dreams and strengthen their values we engage in nation building and peacemaking. I hope that in the long-term, these grass-roots efforts will inspire youth empowerment and their full participation in the post-conflict recovery process. With adequate support and access to necessary resources the youth can be catalyst in rebuilding communities. We need your support to help us improve the lives of young artists in Kosovo. Art and Culture from Kosovo
Mark Kuzhnini is a talented young artist who loves writing poetry. Born in Prizren, Kosovo, he started writing at age fourteen. Now at age twenty-four he studies economy in his home country. As an accomplished writer, his poetry and work conceptualize hope, struggle, self-identity, and experiences from his daily life. Writing was his escape and encouragement to live on after he came out of a comma caused by an accident. With appreciation for life, Mark takes a more soulful and critical approach to the notion of “being” and “identity” as his nation Kosovo is in search of support for its status.
“Writing is my expression of my hopes and dreams that allows me to be creative and channel my inner soul. Being able to publish my first book would be a dream come true and I thank you in advance for your support,” said Mark Kuzhnini.

Mark Kuzhnini hyn në radhën e poteve talent të rinj që veprimtarinë e vet poetike e kultivon me sukses për të rritur dhe për fëmijë. Përmes një perceptimi të qartë poetik, ai na orfon një pikturë të gjallë për jetën në përgjithësi. Me imagjinatën e tij Marku , në mënyr specifike i përjeton dhe i vulos motivet reale, të cilat trajtojnë aspekte të ndryshme dhe ofrojnë njohuri për shumë anë të jetës.
Mark Kuzhnini lindi me 27.01.1987, në fshatin Arbanas (ish-Serbica e poshtme) të kryeqytetit të kulturës Shqiptare të Prizrenit Shkollën e mesme e kreu në “Ymer Prizreni“ në Prizren – dega EKONOMI – Doganier. Marku u rrit në një familje bujare dhe atdhetare, në një familje të madhe KUZHNINI e cila çdo herë ishte në shërbim të atdheut dhe bashkimit të popullit Shqiptar.
Poeti Mark Kuzhnini për shkak të gjendjes së tij shëndetësore ka vijuar shkollimin me vonesë ku pati një aksident natyral u rrezua nga 20 m. në lartësi theu të dy duart ku pati fat në fatkeqesi natyrore. Edhe pse qëndroi i sëmurë në gjendje kome mbi 26 orë ai me vullnetin e jetës për poezinë e tij ia doli ta kapërcejë këtë sfidë shumë të pabërballueshme.
