CAKE FOR RICKY
From Via Turati to Kaka's house. A dangerous trip for a cake of this beauty which was delivered to the Golden Boy on the day of his 22nd birthday. A Milan driver delivered the present directly to the address of Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite at the personal request of Adriano Galliani and the whole Rossoneri club. The wonderful and tasty offering came from the pastery shop Dolce In in the same street as the Milan headquarters. It was a sign of the high affection the youngster is held and to add to this gift, the official Milan site and Milan Channel were inudated with birthday greetings from all over the world. The star from Sao Paolo has been called many things: the golden boy, child, jewel, champion in the 22 shirt, sweet guy ... and simply Kaka as well as Ricky, Riccardino, Ricardo Kaka. There are plenty of those who are thrilled to share their birthday with Kaka and those who would willingly invite him for dinner. We have had so many different messages of greeting for the Brazilian starlet.
Over a 10000 mails have arrived in the last few days, all of them expressing the upmost in their greetings. They have come from all over Italy but also from as far as Moscow, USA, Indonesia, Brazil, of course, Ukraine. From Italy alone, over 200 mails and 500 SMS messages have arrived on Thursday at redazione@milanchannel.com and the channel's number 347-1612899. The fax machine at Via Turati has also been very busy as have been the telephone lines. Just for the record, Kant and Napoleone were born on April 22. Kaka is a young man who reads a lot and will no doubt conqueror the footballing world and although he may be associated with these world figures he will be the first to say he just wants to be himself.

VERDICT POSTPONED
Milan held to a draw, Roma successful. Hopes were that it could be celebration time, the Sunday of the mathematical certainty. It was not like this, but the verdict of this round is more than positive for the Rossoneri who remain top of the table on 76 points, with Roma trailing six points behind. No need to make a drama out of it or regret a draw which can be somehow accepted. Udinese deserved it on the pitch, having a great performance thanks to a tiresome pressing more than spectacular moves. It is not easy to face such stubborn opponents for any team, especially at this point of the season, when freshness and sparkle are on the wane, it is quite normal. Luciano Spalletti has managed to stop Milan twice this season: in the first game he clinched a victory, this time it was a draw. But the scenery is completely different: that Milan side had just been defeated at the hands of Boca Juniors in the Intercontinental Cup in Yokohama; this Milan side, instead, are fighting for the title, holding a clear lead from the challengers. To win the title is not easy, it has never been and will never be. To make a final success even more exciting and tasty there is the value of the opponents. So Milan must now focus on the big clash against Roma next week which turns out to be the most important of the season. A one-to-one challenge between title-competitors and rivals by tradition: at stake there is a dream called the 'Scudetto' but perhaps even something more.
