SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY FOR INTERNATIONAL WOMEN

Women from developing countries who
are committed to improving the lives of women and children in their home
countries are encouraged to apply for the Margaret McNamara Memorial
Fund (MMMF) grants for the academic year 2003-2004. The MMMF is a
nation-wide program providing financial assistance to women from
developing countries during their studies in the United States. The
one-year non-renewable award of about $11,000 is administered by the
World Bank. Although the deadline for receiving completed applications
is January 15, 2003, interested students must request the application
form from Washington, DC and it takes time to receive it.
