Taliban execute kidnapped foreigners 3/13/2006
PESHAWAR (AIP): Taliban on Monday executed four kidnapped foreigners including three Albanians and one German for their alleged support to Americans in Afghanistan.
Taliban spokesman, Qari Muhammad Yousaf, phoned the office of Afghan Islamic Press in Peshawar from an undisclosed location and said, “Three Albanians and one German were executed following the decision of Taliban leadership.”
The decision was taken because these people had been helping Americans in Afghanistan, he added.
About the bodies of the executed foreigners, the Taliban spokesman said, “I do not know the name of the area but they should be searched on border between Kandahar and Helmand province.”
