Skype founders sue eBay
The founders of Skype service charge eBay company which currently owns Skype and investors who would like to buy this service for phone calls via the Internet, reports news agency Reuters.

The reason the suit is breach of copyright rights, say the founders of Skype – Niklas Zennstrom and Janus Friis. All this situation the burden even more the fact that Skype is currently on sale by eBay to investors who will pay $ 1.9 billion for it.

Zennstrom and Friis, who have a company name Joltid Ltd., say that Skype is now under the ownership of eBay, is using their technology without permission. House on known online auction rejects this.

“Skype firm continues to violate the copyright run major company Joltid. Every time the telephone company Skype offers software for downloading from the Internet, Skype users to download copyright work Joltid six times per second, writes in the indictment.

eBay has acquired the technology rights for peer-to-peer by Joltid, but has begun to develop its software alternative in case of losing the case.

“These charges are not true and based on factual and legal errors,” eBay stated in the statement.

Despite these complications, eBay has announced that it still aims to sell 65 percent stake in Skype over the last three months of this year.
