According to the research company iSupply, sales of OLED screens will increase to eight times more within the next four years.</p>
Although currently sold ‘only’ about 30 million, iSupply predicts that by 2013 the market for OLED screens will be eight times larger and will be around 240 million per year. This prognosis, however, comes with a condition, manufacturers have shifted from passive to active matrix in these screens so that they are acceptable to users.</p>
Although the first OLED screens could display only one or two colors, a new generation of these screens, which are mainly used in mobile phones or other hand equipment is able to display full spectrum of colors, while on the contrary are in economic terms energy than LCD screens classic and provide vivid colors and better contrast.</p>
