No Cheesy Pick Up Lines
I lecture to singles groups several times a week on the subject of marriage and relationships, and this gives me a lot of opportunity to observe the modern dating scene. What i witness is an unbelievable lack of confidence. People today seem to have no belief in themselves, and this causes all kinds of confusion and heartache in their search of love. So many young men, for example, find it impossible to muster up the courage simply to walk over to a pretty girl, introduce themselves, and talk to her normally. Instead, they say ridiculous things like ” I hope you know CPR, cause you take my breath away.”</p>
We think we have got to come along with all these bells and wistles, say the smart thing, wear the right perfume, have a trendy job, be unbelievably thin, or, at the very least, own a cool pet, own a nice car before anybody is going to be interested in us. Where did we get such a crazy notions?</p>
The most seductive quality of all, by miles, and the most attractive to the opposite sex, is self confidence. It is achieved when we start to fell good about the direction of our lives. The most attractive type of man or woman walks with their head held high. Not because they have a beautiful face, great figure, or building bank account, but because they are simply, quietly confident in their own ability to contribute something positive to life. That is the greatest turn on of all. The basis of self confidence is the belief that you have a precious gift to give to the world that cannot be duplicated by anybody else.</p>
