Now-days, when so many women are professionally successful in their own right and compete with men for the same jobs, it is easy to forget just how emasculated many men feel. Knowing that women have a wide choice, and no longer need them for the tradition reasons of support and protection, many sensitive men have become extraordinarily shy and unassuming.</p>
It is also conventional wisdom that if a man is interested in a woman he will find a way to call her or get in touch, and should be left to make all the moves, but in my experience this is not always the case. I know scores of men who are interested in dating woman but who are fearful or rejection. Sometimes they cannot even summon up the courage to pick up a telephone. Therefore, women should be careful not to be mysterious and make men do all the chasing. In an age in which so many men lack confidence, it could be that the reason he doesn’t call is that he is sitting at home with his chattering. He is just a pussycat.</p>
