well of course nirvana fans are gonna claim nirvana is the best band but if u listen to Alice in Chains ur opinion will change. their music is simply amazing... they dont have a bad song and Layne Staley IS the God of Grunge, just listen to his voice. Many bands today try to immitate them like Godsmack (got their name from an Alice in Chains song), staind, creed, taproot, and many more. Layne can be immitated but never duplicated. R.I.P to both Layne Staley and Kurt Cobain.
