If you have registered your own custom domain name but would rather use a free blog hosting service, then you can link your .al domain registered at Host.al with Google’s free Blogger service. By linking your domain name to your Blogger account, visitors can read your blog by typing your domain name rather than (account name).blogger.com. This is not only convenient, but it also adds a touch of professionalism to your free blog.
First of all you will have to benefit from Host.al Free DNS Management for your domain. Your .al domain should point to our Nameservers (set by default most of the time on registration of your page).
In this case we are modifying the domain “animator.al”
1) Login to the client’s panel and Click on “Manage Domain”
2) Next selection is “Manage DNS” from the “Management Tools” menu
Please note that not all clients have “Free DNS Management Activated”. If you cannot find the “Manage DNS” selection, please open a Trouble Ticket
3) Point Records to Blogger.com
Now it’s time to enter the CNAMEs. Where it says hostname simply enter “www.animator.al (replace with your own domain name)” and list ghs.google.com as the Address to.
After completing Step 2, enter your domain name in the format example.AL, and list the I.P. addresses shown below in the “A” section. You’ll need to create four separate A-records which point to four different Google IPs.
216.239.32.21
216.239.34.21
216.239.36.21
216.239.38.21
This is all needed on the DNS level for your domain.
